I am using an external Maven 3.0.3 installation and m2eclipse configured with Eclipse Indigo and I am definitely not behind any proxy.

Try making sure your output directory is in your .gitignore so it doesn't cause a [email protected] I'm aware of that.

In absence of any other alternative answer this still seems the best option up to now.

That will disable Eclipse to receive notifications from the operating system, when files on disk change by processes outside eclipse.
